My name is Jana and I'm an Australian now living in
British Columbia, Canada. I came here 11 years ago to marry my
online guy .. I brought my suitcase filled with some clothes, some of my
favourite quilts, old photographs I cherished, and not much more
than that .... My Wilbur came with me and he was so beautiful.
I've been painting for about 25 years now....
My favourite subjects are roses and bears... and I'm inspired by the real bears
around me here in British Columbia.
I make quilts, read mysteries and adore anything Sherlock Holmes .. *(s)
I've recently read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 52 years of letters to his mother ..
an enthralling insight into this talented man.

My darling Wilbur passed away
on March 8th 2008.
Every single
day of his life he brought me joy
and love, companionship and fun.
I miss him with all my heart ....
sleep peacefully my beautiful little boy...
no more pain.
I have a granddog.. *(s) His name is Chewie and he's a real treat.
Big, beautiful and boisterous ... I sure do love him ....
we have a lot of fun when he comes to stay.
