Whimsy Dust

My name is Jana and I'm an Australian now living in

British Columbia, Canada. I came here 9 years ago to marry my

online guy .. I brought my suitcase filled with some clothes, some of my

favourite quilts, old photographs I cherished, and not much more

than that .... My Wilbur came with me and he's beautiful.

I do indeed cherish each day I share with him and my hubby.

I've been painting for about 20 years now.... and I love shabby chic so hopefully this spring and summer I'll be doing some of my favourite pink roses to share with you all.

I adore painting bears ... there's lots of those in the "Woods of Whimsy" collection, and the "Whispers From the Woods" and "Bundles of Bears"... and the real

bears of B.C. have inspired me to create the cute little characters here at

whimsydust.com

My darling Wilbur passed away on March 8th 2008. Every single

day of his life he brought me joy and love, companionship and fun.

I miss him with all my heart ....

sleep peacefully my beautiful little boy...
